The Merging
NEW ADDITIONAL ENDING
Core Concept:
An ending where escape isn't a door — but becoming part of the architecture itself. Designed for solo play or extreme co-op sacrifice.
How to Activate (Hidden Mechanic):
1. Find and collect 3 "Wrong" objects across different levels. These objects don't belong where they're found.
· Object 1: A Coffee Cup in Level 0
· Object 2: A Deflated Red Balloon in the Poolrooms (floating face-down in a submerged corner)
· Object 3: A Shiny Doorknob in Level 6 (Lights Out) — visible only when your flashlight is dead and flickering.
(Or other objects )
2. Order matters. Collecting the Doorknob before the Balloon fails the quest.
3. Keep all three objects in your inventory without dying until you reach Level 94 (Motion).
4. Activation: In the crooked library room of Level 94, three ( or more) empty pedestals stand. Placing the objects on them makes the castle suddenly stop moving and rotating. Everything freezes in dead silence.
5. Access: A crack opens in the main wall. It's not black like the void. It's the color of "Perfect Yellow Carpet."
What Happens in the Ending (Gameplay Experience):
· Entering the crack shifts the view to smooth first-person. You're in an infinite, empty hallway. No monsters. No exits.
· The player chooses 1 of 3 doors. Each door causes a different effect (coughing, Smiles visions, screen distortion). If another player chooses a different door, no teleport happens — both must walk for 2 real-time minutes in complete silence (no music, no ambient sound).
· After 2 minutes, the animation slowly changes. The player's visible hands begin transforming. Footsteps go silent. The body slows down until it locks in place.
· Final Scene: The screen shows a hypothetical new player spawning in Level 0. In the distance, on a hallway wall, a humanoid silhouette is visible. That silhouette is you.
