Add a peaceful mode for the game
I wish there is a peaceful mode where there are no hostile entities, and the player can just be there to experience the liminal experience. Really hope you can read this Fancy, thx!!!

LAURAT MergedEscape The Backrooms is a good game, but it's not that liminal. I think it would be fun if there was a mode where the levels are procedurally generated and you can just explore.
Maybe there could be some objective or optional thing you could do. Maybe you could turn on or off entities.
Of course, not all levels would work (like level !), but for most it could.
For level 0 in specific, you could add the Red Rooms to appear randomly. -

AlexThis might come as a surprise to the developers, but when you play multiplayer repeatedly, you sometimes encounter players who, after experiencing something frightening even once, immediately quit the game or become so scared that they can barely make any progress. It’s not just a matter of being slow or timid—they become completely unable to move due to overwhelming fear.
Even though they purchased the game, these players may never experience the beautiful world that Fancy worked so hard to create again. That would be a real shame, so I strongly recommend implementing a peaceful mode. -

HyperTenkaiA peaceful mode would be nice, but then, I feel like the counterargument for this would be "Just play Dreamcore or The Complex: Found Footage"

AlexIt’s strange to say “Just play Dreamcore or The Complex: Found Footage” when the whole point of the discussion is how to make Escape The Backrooms a better game.
