More Random Events and Dynamic Entities
It would be great to add more random events and dynamic entity spawns in each level.
For example: lights flickering, doors randomly locking, new paths opening/closing, or entities that do not always spawn in the same spots. This would increase replayability and make each run feel unique and unpredictable.
(And more levels obv)

I think it’s a very interesting attempt, but I’m opposed to it on purpose. In certain situations, it probably wouldn’t stand a chance against specific entities, and since there are already many bugs, combining multiple uncertain elements would likely increase the chances of even more issues occurring.
That said, it’s clearly an idea that has received a lot of positive feedback, so I would appreciate it if it could be developed separately from the story mode. -

Evan BellA Minecraft Backrooms mod I played has lights flickering, complete blackouts, and random schoolteacher messages over an intercom. This game could certainly use something like those.

GreddyI fully agree with this proposal. The element of unpredictability is crucial for a game like Escape the Backrooms.
Currently, once you've learned the map and the fixed locations of the entities, much of the tension is lost. The introduction of dynamic events (such as lights going out, sudden noises, doors getting blocked) and randomized entity spawns would completely transform the experience. -

Doctor Nicole WattersonThat's a fantastic idea. Adding random events and dynamic entity spawns would breathe fresh air into every playthrough. In horror games, predictability is the greatest enemy of immersion: when you already know that a light will break at a certain point or that a monster always appears from the same closet, the fear fades away. But if everything were variable, you'd always be on edge, never feeling safe.
I'd love to see events that also react to the player's behavior. For example, the longer you stay still in a room, the higher the chance that lights start flickering or that a door locks behind you. Or entities that don't have a fixed position, but move semi-randomly within the level, maybe attracted by the noises you make. That way, each run would require a different approach—sometimes you have to be stealthy, other times you have to run.
And yes, more levels are always welcome, I hope developers take this into consideration. -

Hunter Orion HollisOne idea I thought of was what if their was a small chance for the weather to be different in Level 4? As said in the Fancy devlog about this level, this level apparently has seasons but is is almost always raining as seen in the level.
