Item Leniency
Various Items in the game aren't lenient enough, some particular examples being Almond Water, Energy Bars, and Juice. The first issue is that all of their use animations are way too long. For example, the Juice. To my knowledge the purpose of the Juice is to gain a speed boost while being chased, but more often than not by the time the animation is done you will have already been caught or will have escaped, rendering it practically useless. Same for the Almond Water, one could start using it before they are doomed to die from sanity but due to the long use animation will face an unfair death, in fact, one should be able to use Almond Water as this death is happening to safe themselves. So how should this be fixed? For one, shorter animations, and for two, the animation shouldn't have to finish. Why do I have to drink every last drop of Juice before gaining a speed boost?

Yeah this makes sense. Like the boost immediately becomes active once you start the animation and the animation doesn't impede anything. -

CROSSANTI think the animations are in fact annoying to get used to, but after that the player learns to eat/drink in advance.
What I think is actually problematic is that if you eat and then try to use something, you can't interact with anything until the eating animation ceases. I think that is a more worthy problem to solve.
