Thalassophobia diving helmet bug
after i complete thalassophobia and first enter the cave. The game automatically puts my diving helmet on for me. I then cant interact with the enviroment, items and progress through the level, i tried reloading the game, restarting level etc. but nothing seems to work.

AlexAt the start of a level, Item Slot 1 is automatically selected. You most likely left a diving helmet in Slot 1, then equipped the diving helmet from Slot 2 or 3 to complete Thalassophobia. As a result, when the next level starts, the game automatically selects Slot 1 and equips the diving helmet without any input.
Fortunately, there's an easy workaround. If you're playing on PC, start repeatedly pressing the 2 key while the level is still loading, before it begins. This causes Item Slot 2 to be selected before you spawn, preventing the helmet in Slot 1 from being equipped automatically. Once you're in the level, open your inventory and discard the diving helmet that's still in your item slot.
A similar workaround should also be possible on other platforms by remapping the relevant controls.
I think the developers should implement a fix to prevent this kind of confusion in the future.
